Thank you to everyone that has shared with us their kind words.
They have brought us much comfort.
Our deepest sympathy and condolences to the family 💕💑😷🙏
First and foremost, me and my family would like to send our heartfelt condolences to Ate Carmen, her children and grandchildren. We deeply feel your great loss. I knew Kuya Enciong since I was a young boy growing up in the same barrio named Bagong Kalsada (New Street as it was translated by the younger generation.) Sharing the same last name, he was also my father’s godson. He was a fisherman, a musician, a sportsman and a Jack of all trade as they say, but master of none; such a very wonderful person he was. Back during the days where motorized banca boats are not popular yet, the Dualan family only used canoes that has similarities to the Hawaiian Outrigger boat using oars and paddles to go out to sea and to catch some fish. Seems like a hardwork, but we got used to doing it, and Kuya Enciong enjoyed every minute of it, you would probably cry if you’re not use to doing those kind of early morning routines, to earn a living.
I watched him played guitar even when he is left handed (no problem) and sing at the same time. You name it..Elvis Presley, Neil Sedaka and Paul Anka. He sings so good. They had a 4 man band named “The Blue Maniacs.” Him on the guitar and singing, a cousin named Menandro Dualan also on guitar or ukulele, and the other two played the bass made from a modified empty 5 gal can of gas. Their group are actually being invited to play whenever there’s birthday party, and believe it or not during a viewing or a visitation, they’re there to console lonely hearts. I watched him play softball in our barrio, in the field only just a hundred fifty feet from our house. Not a homerun hitter, however, he knows how to play fast pitch softball..he was the first baseman of his team. To fast forward a little, he was one of the first lucky ones to be accepted in the US Navy.. he was one of the people who inspired me to continue on and finished high school..and dream of a better future..he is a person full of nothing but encouragements. If I continue on, my story about him probably would last forever..We will miss you Kuya Enciong….Farewell shipmate! Rest in Peace.🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️
Dear Dualan Family, I came across this poem and thought of your heartache. Sending many hugs for all of you. “Gods Garden” God looked around his garden, And found an empty place, He then looked down upon the earth, And saw your tired face. He put his arms around you, And lifted you to rest, God’s garden must be beautiful , He always takes the best. He saw the road was getting rough, And the hills were hard to climb, So he closed your tired eyelids, And whispered “Peace be thine.” It broke our hearts to lose you, But you didn’t go alone, For part of us went with you, The day God called you home.
Our most sincere condolences to Mareng Mameng & family in the passing of our dear compadreng Inocencio a kind hearted Christian who dedicated his life to all that is pure & good in his belief of the Almighty God. He didn’t have any bad bone in his anatomy & we’ve never seen him in a sour mood in all the times that we’re together in a private or public forum; he always flash his signature smile to everyone & followed it up with positive words or short story or events that would lift one’s spirit and that is how we’ll remember our good compadre, a dedicated servant of God who served Him devotedly and as a loving husband, excellent father & compassionate leader of his family tree. We wish him well as he continue his journey from Transitional life to Eternal life in Heaven with The Lord Almighty.
